Tart and Tangy too!

Oranges and Lemons and Limes, Oh My! Here's another card made with the Tart & Tangy set from Stampin' Up!'s current Occasions Mini Catalog. I received this in a swap at the Tulsa Regional seminar from Rhonda Griffin (rondag on SCS). I love the bright and cheery colors which work so well with this set. The focal orange image is also scratch and sniff, so you can get the orange fragrance when it is scratched. How fun!

Stamp sets: Tart and Tangy, One Smart Cookie (sm. orange and sentiment)
Cardstock: Whisper White, Yoyo Yellow, Green Galore, Only Orange.
Ink: Yoyo Yellow, Green Galore, Only Orange Craft.
Accessories: Dimensionals, 1/2", 3/4", 1 3/8", Scallop Punch, Lg and Sm. Oval punches, Only Orange Grosgrain ribbon, clear ep.

Live Your Dream!

Today I'm going to share several pictures I took of cards stamped with the new Live Your Dream set that were displayed on the sample boards at the Stampin' Up! Tulsa Regional Seminar. Many of the cards also use some of the Afternoon Tea Designer Paper which has become so very poplar. Both of these items as well as the round Carousel Notes are in the current Occasions Mini Catalog.

I'm sharing a number of these today as I may not be posting again for several days.

On the right is one of SU's Scallop Notes:

The words on the scallop card are from the "A Perfect Day" Rub Ons.

Tulsa Regional

On March 8, several of us attended the Stampin' Up! Regional Seminar for demonstrators in Tulsa. I said that I would post some of the Make 'n Takes for you later, so here they are!



We had two other projects but I haven't photographed those yet. Another day, when the taxes are done. : )


This first one is made with the set So Much and is a cute little 3x3" size just perfect for many uses. The large circle in the back has been paper pierced on the stamped lines.











This vertically folded card is made with the beautiful set Live Your Dream from the current Occasions Mini Catalog. All these images are in that set. Oh, by the way, this set also matches the Afternoon Tea Designer Paper!


















This pocket card is wrapped with a strip of Afternoon Tea Designer Paper and these stamps are also part of the Live Your Dream set. The Soft Sky is the inside card.










Last one for today is a 6 x 6" scrapbook page featuring the Afternoon Tea Designer Paper and Live Your Dream set. Now all I need is a picture of a cute little girl or boy. Hmm, I think I can find on of those! : )

Tulsa Regional!

Saturday I attended the Stampin' Up! Regional meeting for demonstrators in Tulsa, OK. What a fun day! We had informative and inspiring presentations, took pictures, ate chocolate, received a new stamp set and also got to stamp! We made several cards and two scrapbook pages! I'll be sharing those with you soon!

Here's our group during the Make 'n Take stamping. L to R is Kimberly (Robin's upline), Robin (my daughter and upline), myself and Stacie, my downline. What an enjoyable day!

This is the card I made for a Splitcoast swap at the Regional using one of my favorite sets, Always. It was a small swap but fun, and I got to meet some ladies in person that I had "seen" online, so that was a great treat! Stamping is all about relationships so what fun to meet new stamping friends, and some actually live fairly close to where I live! We talked about getting together and stamping sometime!

Don't you just love the filigree on this bird stamp? I embossed him in White ep to give him shine and dimension. The background rectangle is white glossy cardstock done with embossing resist: Stamp in VersaMark on glossy cardstock, emboss in clear, brayer or apply color with sponge then stamp again with the darker ink. Easy technique!

Set: Always. Wheel: Baroque Border. CS: Rose Red, Certainly Celery, Glossy White. Inks: Versamark, Rose Red, Certainly Celery. Other: 1/2" circle punch, BoHo Blossoms punch, White embossing powder, Embossing Buddy, White Taffeta Ribbon, brayer, sponge, alcohol.
