Today we have a super new sketch from Create with Connie and Mary! Very simple, easy and versatile! Great for CAS (Clean and Simple), quick cards, and fun techniques too!
I looked through my Designer Paper and chose this print from the Park Lane DSP Collection for the upper part of the sketch. The card itself is Daffodil; I added the Park Lane panel and finished the bottom off with a swath of Chevron Natural Ribbon with the chevrons turned inside and the natural back showing. This was edged with the sweet Venetian Crochet Trim. The sentiment was stamped in Soft Suede, which is a color from the designer paper.
I wanted to add more depth to the top so I cut out four flowers from the designer paper, curled them slightly with my bone folder and attached them with Glue Dots. For the three dots, I used So Saffron buttons, colored them with my Daffodil Delight Blendabilities and centered them with 1/4" circles of Gold Glimmer Paper.
Stamps: Remembering Your Birthday
Ink: Soft Suede; Daffodil Delight Blendabilities
Paper: Park Lane DSP; Daffodil Delight cardstock
Accessories: Subtles Collection Buttons, Chevron Natural Ribbon, Venetian Crochet Trim, Dazzling Details
Tools: 1/4" Circle Punch, Paper Snips, Bone Folder,

Margaret, I just love your card! The way you added dimension by layering flowers on the flowers is brilliant!
Great!
LOVE what you did with the flowers!!!! The gold shimmer centers on the buttons add just the right touch of shimmer to the card - just beautiful!
Lovely card Margaret, the addition of the flowers really make the background pop!
This card is so pretty Margaret - I love the extra dimension from the popped up flowers, it adds an extra special touch.
Beautiful!! You really went the extra mile by cutting the flowers to pop up a little....really makes the card amazing!
Love the 3D look you created with the extra flowers...looks like they are fluttering down from above. Cute card!
