Heart and Flowers

Hi friends,  It's good to be home after a trip to see our daughter and family in San Antonio, TX!  I have a new card today after about a week being away (from stamping too)!

I'm loving the new Heart Framelits!  All those different sizes (6!) in one set makes for lots of easy layering and happy creating!  I used a single Heart Framelit for the card today, diecutting it with the Big Shot from Riding Hood Red Cardstock then dry embossing it with the Polka Dot Embossing Folder.
I also used the Big Shot and the Flower Garden embossing folder to add the embossed image of a stem of flowers to the left front of the Blushing Bride base card.  A strip of designer paper from the Twitterpated collection on the right side of the card front is the basis for the color scheme.  I just love the color combination of Marina Mist, Blushing Bride, Riding Hood Red and Basic Gray in this paper, don't you?
The flowers on the card were made using the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch (#122464).  Lucky Limeade leaves cut with the Little Leaves Sizzlet (#114511) were tucked underneath; it's one of my favorite Sizzlets, I use it all the time and it's a great buy at only $5.50!   You NEED one! Marina Mist tiny flowers punched with the flower from Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (#118309) center the flowers and add to the sentiment.  Gotta' love those self-adhesive Pearls emellishments!!
The rick-rack trim on the designer paper was cut with the Tasteful Trims Die.  A sentiment from the new set Tea Shoppe was punched out with the Word Window Punch then layered onto a Modern Label punchout.  The entire card front was spritzed with Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz to glam it up!!  Love that soft shimmer it adds!

I used last week's sketch (CCMC OCC3) from Create with Connie and Mary for the layout of my card even though I wasn't home in time to stamp and add it to their website.  It's a great sketch and I'm happy with the way the card turned out!  You can visit their website to see more cards made with this sketch.

I'm adding my card to Shirley's Valentine Blog Hop week 4 too!

Thanks for visiting today!  I hope you have a wonderful weekend and have some time to do some stamping!  I plan to!
