Love You More, Two!

I have another Valentine today using the same fun Love You More set used for yesterday's card;  it is part of Stampin' Up's special collection for Valentines stamping and crafting that is only available until Monday, January 27!

This card features the globe stamp and the greeting that accompanies it: "you mean the world to me".  They are on the same stamp but I just did selective inking to use them separately.  I also used the eye-catching Fresh Prints Designer Series Paper Stack again today... such great designs!

Love You More!

A Valentine for you today.  I'm working on Valentines for my family and made this simple and easy card using the Love You More set.  What a delightful set this is!

Sweet Saying Cards & Envelopes Pack

Love These Petite Petals!

This week Create with Connie and Mary Challenge has a great sketch!  The original sketch features flowers; I stayed with that theme because I was excited to use my new Petite Petals set and Punch from the Occasions spring catalog.   I was so happy when I saw those two items in the catalog because I've been hoping a small flower punch and stamp set, and there they were!

I used Rose Red Co-ordinations cardstock embossed with the Hexagon folder for the background layer over a Coastal Cabana card.

The sentiment is from the Loving Thoughts set, stamped onto Coastal Cabana and tied with Whisper White Baker's Twine.

I used two of the flower stamps in the set, stamped them on Whisper White with Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight and Wisteria Wonder inks then punched them out with the coordinating punch.  Each flower has Dazzling Diamonds in the center for a little sparkle.

"You Are Loved" Easel Card

Valentine's Day is approaching soon!  I love how these easel cards can sit up and everyone takes notice, lol!

The largest of the Heart Framelits (approx. 5-1/4" x 4-3/4") was used to cut the Real Red cardstock.  I used my Simply Scored Board to precisely score the folds... so easy.

A More Amore Designer Paper print of tiny gray hearts makes a nice backdrop for the laser-cut Primrose Petal heart (also from the More Amore pack).  The "Love" layer is stamped in Real Red on Very Vanilla and punched out with the Decorative Label Punch then embellished with Dazzling Details and Pearls. 

Final embellishments are a vanilla resin rose and a resin heart (both from the Artisan Embellishment Kit) and a Baker's Twine bow.  Not shown:  I later stamped a sentiment inside the heart later using the "Happy Valentine's Day" from the set.

It's time to be getting those Valentines made (talking to myself too, lol!)  This is a beautiful set that is also perfect for engagement, showers, anniversary and wedding projects too!

Hearts a Flutter, More Amore!

Love is in the air as evidenced by all the hearts we see everywhere!  Featured today are the Hearts a Flutter stamp set and Framelit Dies, More Amore Designer Paper and the Artisan Embellishment Kit, all found on pages 10 and 11 in the current Spring 2013 Stampin' Up! Catalog:

Happy Hearts and Primrose Petals!!

Only available SIX more days!  That's right, the Happy Hearts stamp I used on my card today is a special Valentine bundle  from Stampin' Up! available only until January 21!  The bundle includes this single stamp as well as a package of 1" x 8" cellophane self-sealing bags that are perfect for making and giving treats to those who are sweet (and everyone else, too!  lol!) 

I discovered that this stamp is perfectly punched out with the Full Heart Punch (#119883)!  How quick and easy!

I stamped the largest heart in the Hearts a Flutter stamp set then die cut it with the coordinating Framelit in the set by the same name and attached the Happy Heart with Dimensionals.  Underneath the ribbons I layered a 1-3/8" doily cut with the Sizzix Delicate Doilies Sizzlets L (#126999 p. 191) out of a fun new product in the Spring Catalog:  White Creped Filter Paper (#129393).  I was pleased how nicely it cut with the Sizzlit and Big Shot!

In this picture you can see the three tiny pearls I added to the little heart.  What you can't really see is the Dazzling Details and Vanilla Shimmer Spray I added for sheen and sparkle!  I also added some small punched hearts inside the card.

Cross My Heart & More!

There are SO MANY beautiful, creative and new products in the new Spring 2013 Stampin' Up! Catalog!!  I've used some of them on this fun card that can obviously be used for Valentine's Day, and why not for other times through the year as well?!!

The sentiment is from the fun new Cross My Heart set which has three other "crosswords" and four small images.  I covered the small heart in the sentiment with  Dazzling Details for some glimmer and shine.

The lucious new 4.5" x 6.5" Print Poetry Paper Stack was the source for the banners that were cut out with the new Hearts a Flutter Framelits (that have a coordinating set with the same name! but not used here).  These prints are composed of Raspberry Ripple, Primrose Petals, Summer Starfruit and Gumball Green (there are other colors in the pack too!).  I punched out small coordinating Raspberry Ripple and Primrose Petals hearts, adhered them to the banner tops with Dimensionals then treated them with the Dazzling Details as well.

I used the tiny hearts Adorning Accents Embossing Folder to give texture to the lower portion of the card and very lightly brushed a sponge with Primrose Petals Ink across to hightlight the texture.  Two strips of Raspberry Ripple treated with the Scallop Edge Punch finish it off.

Elegant Bird Valentine
