Medallion in Suede and Blush

What a beautiful image this Medallion stamp gives!  It's so elegant and yet can work with a number of artistic styles.

Today's card uses it in more of a vintage way with the distressed background stamp called Sanded first stamped in Creamy Caramel ink onto the Blush Blossom cardstock for a soft background.  The Medallion was then stamped in Soft Suede ink over the this.  The corners were punched with the Ticket Corner Punch and some Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint was applied lightly with a Sponge Dauber to give it some shimmer and more depth.  I had earlier sponged a Chocolate Chip 5/16" Jumbo Brad with the Champagne Mist and allowed it to dry;  I inserted this into the center of the medallion before layering it onto the Soft Suede card.

The sentiment is from the Thoughts and Prayers set; it is stamped in Soft Suede onto  Blush Blossom cardstock then punched out with the Scallop Oval Punch and layered onto Soft Suede which was punched with the Wide Oval Punch.  This was adhered to the card with Dimensionals.  The inside was stamped with a saying from the same set.

This is a very lovely and muted card, very appropriate to convey your thoughts for occasion.  Blush Blossom and Soft Suede make quite a pleasing combination together; I'll use this combination again!  This was one of the cards I designed for a recent class making sympathy, get well and thinking of you cards.

Thanks for visiting today!  I've been working on our taxes and am about finished so I can hopefully get back to more stamping soon!
