Have you tried any of the simple origami flowers? My card today is just that: simple folding of punched circles into a flower. It was relatively easy (after a few adjustments and re-adjustments of my folding) and I was really happy with my first attempt at this. : )
I punched out seven circles with my Stampin' Up! 1" Circle Punch; one circle is the base to which the other circles are attached. Fold each circle in half, then from one end, make a point by folding the paper back alongside both edges of the circle. Then attach all six of the "petals" to the base circle. I made a center from small flowers punches with the BoHo Blossom Punch and the Trio Flower Punch then attached it with a green Rhinestone Brad. For a video of this technique, go here.
I modified Technostamper's Sketch #123 a little by using ribbon instead of the scallop and adding my sentimennt on one of the wonderful new Mini Vintage Tags (#118763) from the Summer Mini Catalog! Those are so cool, and the paper in the tag is this beautiful shimmery cardstock with a pale golden glow! Wow, I love them!

I love the colors you chose for your card, Margaret. Using the Cottage Wall green paper for the two strips suggests vines on either side of your flower, very cool!
