Yet another card made with the Ornament Punch! There are just so many ideas, so little time! I hope you're not tired of seeing cards with this punch! It is so easy and fun to work with!
Today's card uses the Holiday Best Level 1 Hostess set that I used a couple of posts ago and again this one was inked with markers, stamped, punched out then embossed with Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder for a beautiful sparkle-y presence on the front of this simple card.
A layer of Whisper White cardstock was stamped in Real Red with the damask stamp from Friends 24/7 (love that design) repeatedly in a regular pattern. This was layered onto a Real Red card stock base. Then a layer of Vellum Cardstock was run through the Big Shot with the new Texturz Plate that has a diagonal grid. This was layered on top of the damask layer and the corners punched with the Ticket Corner Punch.
A length of red-stitched white grosgrain from the Mistletoe Ribbon Pack in the Holiday Mini Catalog was tied around, then the ornament shape was adhered with Dimensionals after a single Silver Metallic Cord was tied around the top.
Stamps: Holiday Best, Friends 24/7
Ink: Real Red pad; Real Red and Old Olive Stampin' Write Markers; VersaMark
Paper: Real Red, Whisper White card stocks; Cardstock vellum
Accessories: Mistletoe Ribbon Originals, Silver Elastic cord, Sponge Dauber, Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder, Dimensionals
Tools: Big Shot, Texturz Plate, Ticket Corner Punch, Ornament Punch,
Another great use for the Delightful Decorations stamp set and coordinating Ornament Punch is gift tags. Stamp them in colors to coordinate with your gift wrapping then punch then out quickly with the Ornament Punch. I made these in just a very few minutes from Whisper White cardstock leftovers from other projects! Great way to use up scraps also!
