Wandering Words & Autumn Traditions

Technostamper's Sketch Challenge this week is a simple rectangle with straight lines; I can't believe we're already at sketch #86!

I recently received my pre-ordered sets from the Holiday Mini Catalog but hadn't mounted the cool new Wandering Words set. It has three good sized stamps representing fall, Christmas and Valentines. Each stamp has long flowing words in it too, which are very pretty.

I chose the fall stamp and coordinated the colors with the Autumn Traditions DSP. This print is so pretty with this great combination of colors, and is perfect for fall! I inked my stamp with the markers then stamped on Very Vanilla cardstock. This was mounted on Elegant Eggplant. The card base is Elegant Eggplant layered with Soft Suede then the More Mustard DSP print and the leaf print.

I took the artistic liberty of turning the sketch on its side which fit my image and was pretty happy with the way it turned out. I also just love how all those colors mesh together for a seasonal look! You can see the other participants in this challenge by going to Technostamper's blog here.

Here's the original sketch for today:

Stamps: Wandering Words (#116507, set of 3, $25.95)
Inks: Markers: Soft Suede, Ruby Red, Always Artichoke, More Mustard, Elegant Eggplant
Papers: Autumn Traditions Designer Series Paper (#115668, $9.,95); Elegant Eggplant, Soft Suede, Very Vanilla cardstocks
Accessories: Gold brads, Ticket Corner Punch, Eggplant 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon

Thanks for dropping by! Try out the challenge yourself and post the link to your card in my comments section or over at Technostamper's blog so we can see your work!
