Paper Pansies!

Have you seen the beautiful paper pansies made with the Stampin' Up! Butterfly Punch?  They are absolutely gorgeous and fun to do!  I have been eager to make some and finally got around to doing it yesterday!

I saw these pansies on Gretchen Barron's blog as well as others, then watched Dawn Olchefske's video here for the instructions.  I just want to say "Thanks" to all the stampers who share so generously!

The card base is Whisper White overlaid with Regal Rose which has been dry embossed with the Flourish Texturz Plate and the Big Shot and the edges distressed. Next is Orchid Opulence cardstock, diecut with the Top Note Die in the Big Shot then dry embossed with the new Lattice Embossing Folder in the Big Shot.  A sash of Pretty in Pink Striped Grosgrain Ribbon encircles the Top Note layer.

The pansies were punched from Shimmer White Cardstock with the Butterfly Punch then colored with AquaPainters and ink refills (see Dawn's video linked above for the technique).  Each is constructed with a Gold Mini Brad in the center.  The leaves are Certainly Celery punched with the 5-Petal Flower Punch, dry debossed with a stylus then cut apart and tucked and adhered under the flowers with Mini Glue Dots.

The greeting is from Sincere Salutations (#115068, $23.95), stamped in Elegant Eggplant ink then punched out with the Scalloped Oval Punch (#114889, $15.95).

Remember Stampin' Up!'s Color Renovation is taking place now!  If you want any of the retiring colors, order NOW because when supplies are gone, some will not be replaced!  Orchid Opulence on the card today is one of the retiring colors.

I hope you enjoy and experiment yourself in making these!

NOTE:  You may purchase any of these or other Stampin' Up! products online through my Demonstrator Web Site here and click on the SHOP NOW button.  You will save 10% or move over ordering it directly through Stampin' Up!'s website.  It will be delivered direct to you from Stampin' Up!

Thanks for visiting!  Have a good weekend!
