Sweet Scoops in Chocolate!

Here's another sample with the Sweet Scoops set.  This time it is chocolate ice cream...mmm!  I was inspired by a card made by Dawn Olchefsky and mine is very similar.  However, I used a new "Sneak Peek" product from the upcoming 2010-2011 Catalog!   Hint:  The ice cream is stamped on a circle cut with the 1 3/8" Circle Punch.  What's it layered on, you ask?  Well, our NEW 2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch!!  As demonstrators, we are privileged to get to purchase a few "Sneak Peek" items early, and as soon as I saw this, it was on my "Must Have" List!!

The card base is Chocolate Chip.  Close to Cocoa (retiring) cardstock is stamped on top with the "sprinkles" from the set on the upper portion and the sentiment on the lower portion then layered over the chocolate.  The cone was stamped in So Saffron ink and a little Close to Cocoa ink sponged on one side; the scoop was stamped in Close to Cocoa and Chocolate Chip sprinkles stamped on that.  Dazzling Diamonds Glitter adds a great touch to the ice cream!

A swath of 1 1/4" Chocolate Chip Stitched Grosgrain ribbon (retiring) wraps around the cocoa layer and a length of Apricot Grosgrain ribbon (which blends nicely with the Saffron) overlays it and is anchored on each end with a White Jumbo Brad.

Thanks for dropping by today!  Hope you'll come back soon!
