Presto Patterns #4 Fleur de Lis

Card number four in my series of Presto Patterns Specialty Paper projects features the P.P. sheet with the the large word "Paris" and other words as well as some swirls.  I couldn't resist using the fleur de lis stencil from the Elegant Trio Decor Stencils found in the Definitely Decorative catalog (#118262, $9.95); that paper just seemed to be calling for it!  : )

I spritzed the Log Cabin Smooch Spritz over the stencil and Presto Patterns paper;  I was a little too generous with it (live and learn!) so the ink was "bleeding" under the stencil.  I took a partially dry baby wipe and dabbed the excess then smudged it around the stencilled area for a real grunge look.  : )  Then I spritzed on more Smooch Spritz (only once this time) and let it dry, wiping the excess ink off the patterns of the paper with a tissue.  The edges were distressed with the Distresser Tool.  This was layered onto Soft Suede cardstock.

The card base is Crumb Cake (formerly Kraft).  Over that is a layer of Concord Crush which has been embossed with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder and the Big Shot.  The Concord Crush layer was also spritzed with the Gold Smooch Spritz.

The final touch is a brushed gold flower that was cut out with the Flower Fusion Sizzlit and SU's Brushed gold cardstock then assembled with a brad.

Thanks for visiting today!  I hope you are enjoying the series with this paper; come back tomorrow for more.  : )
