This is the banner hung on the mantel; I had a hard time photographing it because of the lighting. : (
There is a star circle on each end of the garland. Background circle cut with the new 3 1/2" Circle Die and embossed with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder. Bigz Large Scallop Die for the red.
The star gets it's "close-up"! You can see the Silver Chunky Glitter (retiring!) around the Circle, the Dazzling Diamonds around the inner star (cut with the Retiring Star Punch); Star is die cut with Stars#2 Die (retiring, WHY!!!). BoHo Flowers Punch for star center with Fire Circle Rhinestone Brad.
Letters die cut with the SerifEssentials Alphabet set; butterflies with the Beautiful Wings Embosslit. Heart punched with Heart to Heart punch.
Riding Hood Red is my red color; I used my much-loved Love Letters DSP (oh how I will miss that paper!) and a retired print from Bella Rose DSP. Smaller stars from the same Stars #2 Die as the large star on each end.
I used Silver Brads on each letter. I made Loops of Night of Navy 1/4" grosgrain ribbon to run the 1/8" Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon through and tie to the (retired but on Clearance Rack) Riding Hood Red 1-1/4" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon. Button from Regals Button Asst. package. Rhinestone was colored red with a sharpie.
One last photo taken on a white wall in hopes to get a better photo.
Hope you enjoy this project! Let me know if you get inspired and make one for yourself! It was really fun and satisfying to make! I have had it bouncing around in my head for awhile and just had to get it "worked out", LOL!!
I still have to get my computer worked on but right now I have a temporary work-around. Thanks for your patience!
