I'm loving these wonderful Spice Cake designer suite colors: Soft Suede, More Mustard, Pool Party and Very Vanilla!. They look so great for fall cards and projects but really can be used for much more than fall projects alone!
This is a pretty quick card we did for a Make and Take at a recent workshop using a print from the
Spice Cake Designer Series Paper package. The card base is the new
In Color Pool Party; it has a layer of
Soft Suede which has been dry embossed with the
Big Shot and the new
Houndstooth Embossing Folder. (love that too!
A strip of the Designer Paper down the left side of the card sets the color scheme (that way I don't have to think one up'! E-Z! lol!) A rectangle of More Mustard layered over Soft Suede form the background for two leaves from the Gently Falling set (stamped in Pool Party then stamped again with the leaf outline stamp in Soft Suede) which have been cut out and adhered with Dimensionals. A little Dazzling Details isadded to give it some sparkle!
The greeting from the
Teeny Tiny Wishes set was stamped on
Very Vanilla and cut out with the
Word Window Punch. This was adhered to a
Modern Label punch of
Pool Party and embellished with a
Gold Mini Brad. Pretty quick and ready to pop into the mail to send good wishes to someone!
