Berry Blossoms!

One of my favorite items in the Occasions Mini Catalog?  Ranking right up there with the Framelits et al  is a punch... the wonderful Blossom flower punch that has a coordinating set (Mixed Bunch), and I'm seeing so many cool ways to use it too!  I have posted several projects done with it already and will be sharing more soon! 

 

This card has flowers punched out of Designer Series Paper (coincidentally named "Berry Blossoms", main catalog).  I love this combination of Calypso Coral, Lucky Limeade and Wisteria Wonder (all In Colors) with a background of Early Espresso... very dramatic!  I used two different prints from the package and punched a partial blossom from the floral DSP background, revealing the tiny polka dotted DSP beneath it.  I added a Blossom punch of Calypso Coral embossed with the Polka Dot Embossing Folder and layered over another polka dotted Blossom and attached it to the left of the "negative space flower".  Limeade leaves are punched out with the Modern Label Punch and tucked underneath.

I added a banner from the Bring on the Cake birthday greeting set stamped with Early Espresso ink across the bottom of the card.

Inside the card is another stamped saying from the same Bring on the Cake set.  The blossom that was punched out of the floral layer on the front was adhered inside along with a Wisteria Wonder scalloped cardstock strip to continue the color scheme throughout.
