Bordering on Romance II

No, you're not seeing double... I stamped and colored three Bordering on Romance (2012 Occasions Mini Catalog) images at one sitting the other day so this is the second card I've made with those.  Don't you find it saves time to do more than one image at a time?
On this card I used the same color scheme of Peach Parfait, Pool Party but only a touch of Lucky Limeade (leaves) and then varied the layout and used the Label Framelit instead of the Heart. I also used one different sheet of Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper from card #1.  The Very Vanilla card base was overlaid with Pool Party and then the Peach Parfait DSP print.  On top of that I added a large banner shape and edged it with Very Vanilla for accent.

I used one of my watercolored (with Blender Pens and ink refills) Bordering on Romance images for the focal point again.

TIP:  Diecut a second Label Framelit in Peach Parfait, cut it apart, trim it then adhere it behind the top and bottom of the image thereby giving a border effect.

I added a simple bow of delicious Pool Party Seam Binding Ribbon attached with one of those lovely Vintage Brads.  Across the top I added three small Pearls and then a small butterfly diecut and embossed with the Beautiful Wings Sizzlet for accent.  When I laid this image on the card, I used Dimensionals to give it height and separation also.

I wish you could see the shimmer sheen on the card added with Vanilla Smooch Spritz!  It's so pretty IRL!  But you can see the narrow strips of designer paper I added to the inside edge of the card ;  I also stamped two smaller flowers in Peach from this same set, both of which carry the colors and designs to the inside.

These colors are from the current Create with Connie and Mary CCMC193 Color Challenge.

Thanks for dropping by today!  I hope you enjoy the card and will visit again soon!
