Sheltering Tree

The Sheltering Tree set appealed to me the first time I saw it in the catalog. I love that it can be done in so many colors and styles! This was one of the cards the guests made at my Occasions/Sale-A-Bration Open House recently.

I used a simple palette of Pink Pirouette, Calypso Coral and Soft Suede to make this sweet card for a friend.  The leaves were stamped in the Pink then using a Calypso Coral Stampin' Marker and the "thumping" or "pouncing" technique, the coral was added to the stamp before stamping onto the paper.

In this picture you can better see the sparkle that was added with Dazzling Details!  So pretty how that works!  The little heart was punched from Calypso Coral Cardstock and Gold Baker's Twine tied with a bit of Venetian Lace Crochet Trim.  Very simple, easy and well received by the guests!

Stamps:  Sheltering Tree
Inks:  Soft Suede, Pink Pirouette, Calypso Coral Stampin' Marker
Paper:  Very Vanilla, Soft Suede (card base), Calypso Coral
Accessories:   Dazzling Details, Heart Punch (Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack), Gold Baker's Twine, Venetian Lace Crochet Trim.

Thanks for visiting!  Have a super Saturday!

Great card. Thanks for sharing the thumping method. I will have to try that.
