Sweet Scoops of Ice Cream!

Perfect timing for an ice cream set!  It's hot here and summer has begun in earnest!  With the high temperature in the 90's every day, it's time for a little of that yummy cold stuff, ice cream!  A new Braum's Ice Cream Store just opened recently near our house; how convenient!!  lol!

Sweet Scoops!  What a cute new set from Stampin' Up! in the Summer Mini Catalog!  Scoops, twists, waffle and sugar cones, sprinkles, cherries and even a texture stamp are included in this cool (pun intended!) set!

In honor of some of our retiring colors, I used one of my favorites, Cameo Coral, for the card base.  I stamped the right side with the sprinkles in the same color.  The sentiment is stamped in Rose Red on the lower left.

A panel of the retiring Pink Flamingo Designer Paper is framed with Tempting Turquoise and tied with a Crushed Curry Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon (retiring!). The ice cream and cone were stamped on white with Cameo Coral and Creamy Caramel (retiring) inks and also framed with turquoise.  I stamped another scoop, sprayed it with Vanilla Smooch Spray and cut it out then layered it over the first one with a Dimensional.

What a fun and bright card for a birthday or other celebration, but the words could easily be changed to make a different type of card just to brighten someone's day!
