Six-Sided Sampler & Gingham Garden!

This is a card we made for Jo's party recently.  I'm really liking this Six-Sided Sampler set and the Hexagon Punch that coordinates with it, as well as the lovely Gingham Garden Designer Series Paper.  The hexagon shape is SO trendy right now, besides being a classic shape from nature brought to us by our "sweet" little friends, the honey bees!

This is a simple reproduce-able card.  A strip of Gingham Garden floral DSP wraps horizontally across the card, then each side is scored on the Simply Scored Board for a little more finished look.  The hexagons were stamped in colors from the DSP and a Bitty Butterfly punched from last year's Brights Paper Stack (this year's patterns are different).  Small flowers punched with the Itty Bitty Shapes four-petal flower punch centered with Pearls are the accent.

Here is another variation using the same materials.  I had a couple of kits left after the workshop so I made them up just a little differently.

I turned my card and DSP strip vertical and used one different-patterned hexagon stamp.  The butterfly and tiny flowers are the same. I did arrange the hexagons differently and a little further apart.

Stamps:  Six-Sided Sampler, Sweet Essentials sentiment stamp.
Ink:  Melon Mambo, Island Indigo, Daffodil Delight
Paper:  Gingham Garden and Brights Paper Stack DSP, Whisper White and Daffodil cardstocks
Accessories:  Basic Pearls
Tools:  Itty Bitty Shapes punch pack, Paper Trimmer, Hexagon punch, Bitty Butterfly Punch,
