Prince of Peace CCMC271

This week's challenge over at Create with Connie and Mary is a sketch challenge.  When I saw it, I knew I wanted to use my new Single Stamp, Prince of Peace, that Stampin' Up! only recently released!

Fun Stampin' with Margaret, Prince of Peace Single SU Stamp, CCMC271 sketch, Deco Framelit, Modern Mosaic TIEF, Frosty Accent, Silver 1/8" Ribbon, SU

I used a combination of Rich Razzleberry, Wisteria Wonder and Very Vanilla for the card and cut the front layer according to the sketch, although I inverted it with the larger panel on the bottom.

The Wisteria Wonder layer was dry embossed with the Modern Mosaic folder; the image was stamped with VersaMark onto Rich Razzleberry, heat embossed in Silver and attached with Dimensionals.  The entire card front was then spritzed with Vanilla Smooch Shimmer Spray.

The final embellishments are Rhinestones, a Frosted Finished Embellishment and Silver 1/8" Ribbon, giving this card a pretty shimmer and sparkle in person!

Here is the Challenge sketch:

Wow...I love the non-traditional colors for Christmas! The Wisteria Wonder almost looks blue against the Rich Razzleberry! So pretty! Great job with the sketch challenge this week!

I am new to your blog and was looking around it, saw your secret garden card done with aqua painter and alcohol. I am a demonstrator also and was wondering how that technique is different than using water. I read also that you used clear embossing powder and yet had the color for the outline. did you ink up with your color choice then stamp that in versa then put on card and clear emboss?? It is a beautiful card and one that went in my file to CASE!! Is that okay? any help with these questions would be appreciated. contact me at vmilyard@gmail.com thanks again!

I love that stamp and you showcased it beautifully. The silver embossing on Rich Razzleberry really makes it stand out!
