Cheerful Critters! CCMC339

Hello!  It's time for another weekly challenge from Create with Connie and Mary; today it's a fun sketch!

I'm so tickled to finally get to use this cute  Cheery Critters set I just recently purchased!  I like that they are so versatile; they come with a number of sayings but you can use any stamps you might have on hand that fit or just write it in yourself!  Too cute!!  This sentiment actually comes from the Groovy Love set and I was happy to find that it fit so well for my Valentine card!

I promise these colors match the papers IRL!  The Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock matches the little cantaloupe heart on the bottom strip of designer paper!  I colored the bear with Blendabilities (which again match the papers IRL) and punched the top of the white layer with the Hearts Border Punch.  I then punched more hearts from Real Red cardstock and inlaid them into three of the negative spaces then added a fourth punched from Red Glimmer Paper.  Two more Red Glimmer hearts were added which adds some fun sparkle to the card!

Stamps:  Cheerful Critters, Groovy Love (sentiment)
Ink:  Memento Black; Calypso Coral Light and Cherry Cobbler Light Blendabilities
Paper:  Stacked with Love Designer Paper stack, Whisper White, Real Red, Crisp Cantaloupe; Red Glimmer Paper
Accessories:  Personal Paper Trimmer, Hearts Border Punch, Snail Adhesive, Dimensionals.

Here is the cool sketch from Create with Connie and Mary this week:

This is such a great sketch and a wonderful way to use ribbon or Designer Paper!!  We really hope you will join us this week by creating a card with this sketch then uploading it to the Create with Connie and Mary blog; all the guidelines are on there for you to see.  Also be sure to check out each of the Challenge Team member's cards this week too!

Thanks for visiting; see you soon!

Your card makes me smile! I love that stamp set for that very reason. Cute little heart accents and I love the little heart on the bear's shirt :)
