Happy Birthday, USA!!

The Blogger's Challenge this week was to use a patriotic theme.  That was perfect since I had ordered the new July Fourth set and the Red, White and Blue Jumbo Wheel from the Summer Mini Catalog!

I rolled the wheel with Real Red ink twice onto Whisper White cardstock then cut the flag out from one of them.  I cleaned the wheel then applied Night of Navy ink with my Stampin' Write marker to the star portion of the flag, rolled that on a scrap, cut it out then adhered it to the flag.  The other wheeled strip had the bottom edge treated with the Scallop Trim Border Punch and layered onto Night of Navy cardstock.

The Real Red card base was stamped with the fireworks stamps in Real Red, then Dazzling Diamonds Glitter makes them pop!  lol!  The wheeled strip was adhered to the card then the extra flag was added with Dimensionals.  The star was stamped in navy, punched out with the large Star punch and adhered with Dimensionals.  This was a fun and easy card to make once I had a plan!

I am thankful for all the freedoms we have in this country and for the men and women who currently serve or have served to help keep this country free.  God bless them and God Bless America!

Be sure and check out the other ladies who participate in the Blogger's Challenges.  Click here for links to their blogs and see what they came up with this week!

Thanks for visiting here!  Come back soon for a series of projects using Presto Patterns!!

I love all the bling in the background and I also love that you are thankful for all that we have. So often, we focus on all the negatives, but I agree with you. We have so many blessings in this country thanks to so many who in the past (and present) work hard to protect our freedoms.
