Shaker Card Week, Day 5: "Tags til Christmas" Snow Girl

Day Five already!  Our card today uses the cute little girl in the snow stamp from the multi-purpose Tags til Christmas set for the shaker.  The Mica Flakes from the Holiday Mini are the perfect filler for this shaker card!

You might notice that there are two different Designer Series Papers used on this card.  They are actually from two different packages but they both use the same Marina Mist color so they play together nicely!  lol!  The back layer on the Whisper White card base is from the Beau Chateau pack whereas the plaid layered on Cherry Cobbler is from the Holiday Mini's Frostwood Lodge collection!
The shaker frame showcases the delightful little girl in the snow stamp; the Marina Mist top layer had the circle punched out and was textured with the Northern Flurry Embossing Folder and the Big Shot before attaching to the shaker.  Small Rhinestones were added to continue the "bling" factor!  : )

TIP:  Two Dimensionals, stacked, are approximately equal to the 1/8" height of the Shaker Frame, so when attaching a layer as I did on this card, you can maintain the height of your layer; I used a "stack" in each corner of the blue layer.
I'm sorry about the reflection on the shaker, but I wanted to use this picture which shows the elevation of the Marina Mist layer from the Shaker Frame and the stacked Dimensionals

I love the big Snowflakes #2 Originals Die (#113460, $15.95).  I bought it soon after I got my Big Shot and have used it a lot every year since!  I cut this one from Whisper White then covered it with glue with my Two Way Glue Pen and poured Dazzling Diamonds Glitter all over it!  It is some gorgeous bling!  The final touch was a knot of luscious Cherry Cobbler Quilted Ribbon on the side!

The design for this card was inspired by a card made by Chiaki Haverstick.  Thank you, Chiaki!

Remember that Friday in the USA is Veterans Day, so we want to let all our veterans and active duty military know how appreciative we are of their service to our country.

Thanks for visiting today!
