Today is the first day of Spring and it was beautiful here...75 degrees and sunny! Gorgeous if not a little windy! lol!
It was so sunny outside today that I looked for something appropriately bright to make a card with. My new Summer Picnic paper and brightly colored die-cut flowers just called out to be used, so that I did. I love the combination of these colors and the die-cuts are so easy to use...just pop out and go! I applied The Perfect Day circular scallop Rub-on to some Celery cardstock and punched it out with the Scallop punch (it fit perfectly!) for the center of the big red flower. I punched a flower out of Celery with the Five Petal flower punch and cut off two petals to use for leaves. A line of small white rub-on flowers accent the front opening of the card. Red grosgrain ribbon and a brushed silver flower slider from the Brushed Silver HodgePodge Hardware accent the completed card!
Stamps: none
inks: none.. Yikes!
Papers: Certainly Celery, Real Red cardstock; Summer Picnic Designer Paper (Occasions Mini)
Accessories: Die-Cut Blooms, A Perfect Day Rub Ons, Scallop Punch, Five Petal Flower Punch, 3/4" Circle Punch, 1/4" Red grosgrain ribbon, Brushed Silver Hodgepodge Hardware, white gel pen.
Happy Easter weekend! Thanks for stopping by!
Jesus died so we could be forgiven for our unrighteousness.
